Bananaman

Inspired by the 80s hero appearing in Nutty, Dandy, and Beano comics, this costume of Bananaman was made to reimagine him for the modern era. A variety of techniques have been used in the construction of the costume including foam fabrication for the muscle suit, moulding and casting to make a urethane mask, screen printing banana patterns on lycra, and a faux banana skin fabric made with latex.

The ears are attached to the head with magnets and have three different pairs so that the character can emote in a similar fashion that he does in the comics.
